Ithaca (sometimes spelled Ithaka) is one of the Ionian Islands in Greece
Steeped in history, the horseshoe-shaped harbor of Vathi beckons you to explore. This is the island’s capital, featuring quaint pastel-colored houses cascading down the hillside.
More than half of Ithaca's beaches are accessible only by sea. If you do not own a yacht or a speedboat, you can rent a small boat to visit them. No special permit is required by law for boats with an engine of less than 30hp.
