You will also find a multitude of original gifts to take home including shell jewelry, ornaments, hand carved shark tooth knives, postcards, collectors' stamps, and dream catchers. You can also enjoy a barbeque feast where local dance groups dressed in traditional grass skirts perform energetic and engaging shows, dipping back in time as they sing and perform the stories of their ancestral past.
Fanning island has one of the most pristine and perfect beaches in the world. Napali Beach on Fanning Island is NCL's private water sports beach located inside the lagoon. On Napali Beach, you can ride jet skis, sail hobie cats, rent paddle boats, try kayaking, or simply spend the afternoon floating in the shallow 87° F lagoon, while sipping on a rum cocktail and reflecting on this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Scuba diving and Snorkeling trips along the outer reef gives a chance for the guests to explore and experience the rich underwater sea life, which includes colorful corals, giant parrot fish, butterfly fish, shy sea turtles, giant manta rays and reef sharks.
For further exploration of the island, bicycles may be rented where you can discover the outer villages, meet inquisitive children, spot giant land crabs and breathe in the spectacular postcard perfect views of the island and sea.
