Sightseeing:
Pangnirtung, or Pang as locals call it, is located on Baffin Island in the Cumberland Peninsula. It is a small community bordered by snowcapped mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Located just outside of the Arctic Circle, Pangnirtung is one of Nunavut's communities to witness the midnight sun phenomenon, when-for about a month starting near the beginning of June-the sun does not fully set, giving way to 24 hours of sunshine.
