Monthly Climate Averages for Mithymna Greece
Mythemna (also Mithymna, Molyvos) is a former municipality on the island of Lesbos, North Aegean, Greece. The second most important town of the island, it is located at the northern tip of Lesbos (Lesvos). It is a beautiful village with a majestic Genoese fortress on its hilltop overlooking a picturesque harbor.
The walk through the village itself is one that should be taken even by those with fears of walking uphill. The main street of Molyvos is made of cobbled stone and covered entirely by wisteria that seems to be in bloom even when it shouldn't be. The street is completely shaded by these incredible vines and make walking by day quite bearable, even on the hottest days.
At Mithymna there are art galleries, antique, craft and jewelry shops leading along the narrow cobbled streets.
