Sightseeing:

Just a little less than 40 km of sandy beach – what a magnificent place to take a walk, collect seashells, build sand castles, bathe or relax in a beach chair. Picturesque thatched roof houses in sleepy towns, small harbors, long beach promenades, hiking paths through the dunes, visits to the mud flats or on the Red Cliff – boredom is not so quick to appear on Sylt.
